We are so excited to offer our home as a short term rental. It is comfortable yet spacious and has incredible views. I live full time on the Carolina coast and love making memories with my family at our mountain home. Please join us!

Flexible checkout time
You will receive a code to the home 24 hours prior to arrival. The code will be active at check-in time. You can let yourself in and make yourself at home!

What's Allowed
We love animals, but have a child who is very allergic. We allow pets but please don't allow them in beds or on furniture. Otherwise, we'd love to host your well behaved pets!
Fee: $200
Yes-we have a pack and play and a high chair. There is an open stairwell so children need to be well supervised.
No smoking indoors. Smoking on the deck is allowed but please be respectful and careful.
No parties. The town has a noise ordinance from 10PM-8AM. Events may be considered on a case by case basis. Please contact owner. Written permission required.

- "THIS IS A VACATION RENTAL AGREEMENT UNDER THE NORTH CAROLINA VACATION RENTAL ACT. THE RIGHTS AND OBLIGATIONS OF THE PARTIES TO THIS AGREEMENT ARE DEFINED BY LAW AND INCLUDE UNIQUE PROVISIONS PERMITTING THE DISBURSEMENT OF RENT PRIOR TO TENANCY AND EXPEDITED EVICTION OF TENANTS. YOUR SIGNATURE ON THIS AGREEMENT, OR PAYMENT OF MONEY OR TAKING POSSESSION OF THE PROPERTY AFTER RECEIPT OF THE AGREEMENT, IS EVIDENCE OF YOUR ACCEPTANCE OF THE AGREEMENT AND YOUR INTENT TO USE THIS PROPERTY FOR A VACATION RENTAL."This Agreement shall be governed by the laws of the State of North Carolina. Any dispute arising under this Agreement shall be brought exclusively in the state courts located in Rutherford County, North Carolina.
- Some simple rules: *Please be respectful of our neighbors and the town of Lake Lure’s quiet hours from 10PM-8AM. *No parties *Maximum occupancy in our home is 10 people per Lake Lure ordinance. *No climbing outside of stairs or on railings . *In this area of North Carolina there is abundant wildlife including, but not limited to: bugs, snakes and rodents, bears, coyotes, and other creatures. *We do treat outside the home monthly to do our best to avoid bugs and other pests, but they may occasionally be spotted. *It is vital to put trash in bear-proof receptacles and not leave food outside once done eating. *At checkout, discard or take any food and beverages you brought. *Please load the dishwasher and run it. *Throw remaining trash in the cans within the bear proof receptacles at the end of the driveway and be sure the bin is secured. *Trash night is Sunday and picked up early Monday morning. * No smoking allowed inside the property. Smoking is allowed outside, but please be respectful, cautious and clean up after yourself. *Guests may be held responsible for additional cleaning fees if excessive cleaning is needed, in home or of hot tub, beyond normal turnover, or due to pet damage. *Most importantly, make yourself at home and enjoy your time at Wild Valley Lodge. Dogs are allowed with a $200 pet fee. Please do not allow dogs in bed or on furniture due to allergies. Leashes are required outside the home. Check-in is anytime after 4:00 PM.
